Wet or whiskey compassThe Whiskey Compass is there for general guidance should the DI fail and for
setting the DI with. It is prone to swinging when accelerating and slowing down
and lags behind in turns. If the aircraft gets hit by lightening the pilot
should arrange on landing to have the compass realigned by an engineer as
magnetic properties in the lightening could affect the needle.
